Learn the flow of the prayer.

The flow of the prayer for safety is as follows:

1. After enjoying tea and sweets in the tatami room, you will walk through the red corridor and then proceed through the hallway next to the main hall (haiden).

2. Before entering the main hall (haiden), make a slight bow as a sign of respect.

  1. Once inside, you’ll find chairs set up. Please take a seat.

4. When signaled by the shrine priest, please stand up, and they will lead you in offering prayers for the safety of your journey.

5. After that, you will have the opportunity to partake in “o-miki,” which is sacred sake. This marks the end of the experience.

You don’t need to worry about the procedure, as there will be an interpreter present to guide you through each step as necessary.
